Really weird. As I posted in another thread, the last couple of weeks have been rough in the car industry nationwide where sales were very low and those in the industry are concerned. Sounds like the opposite is happening to you where they don’t care. Very strange indeed.

So I even emailed the Chrysler guy again and asked if he had an opportunity to put those numbers together and that I would really like to get this done…nothing lol
In the meantime I emailed another dealer that has the same van and we are communicating very well.

Not yet, haven't had a chance to...if we wind up getting this Pacifica that makes that a more attractive option because I could just get that with a third row and drive it on trips, then I would just never drive the Pacifica lol

I'll be interested to get your thoughts. The P400 with the I6 doesn't exactly feel sprightly around town, which can be seen in C&D's 5-60mph time of 7 seconds.

This is the new Moonlight White Metallic that replaces my Diamond White on the S Class for 2024, looks much better, much whiter:

Minivan Rear-Seat Safety Not Up to Snuff, According to IIHS
Minivan Rear-Seat Safety Not Up to Snuff, According to IIHS
New testing from the IIHS highlights issues with rear-passenger protection in the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, Kia Carnival, and Toyota Sienna.
- The IIHS announced that none of the four minivans it tested achieved better than a Marginal rating for overall vehicle safety.
- The poor results are due to new testing regimens from the IIHS that put a focus on rear-passenger safety.
- The test included the Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Carnival, and Toyota Sienna.
The IIHS released updated crash-test results that show all four minivans on sale in the United States today fail to adequately protect rear-seat passengers in front-end collisions. The results are particularly embarrassing for a segment so sought after by many families. Between the Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Pacifica, Kia Carnival, and Toyota Sienna, none received the top "Good" rating, or even the second tier "Acceptable" from the IIHS.

The diamond white looks great in bright light and at night under lights, it just doesn’t look great to me on a cloudy day.

I just don’t like cream or yellow hinges. I think some pearl does that, but it doesn’t have to be cream. Lots of pearl whites don’t have a cream hue to them and look great.

The whole idea of Diamond (Pearl) White is to have a semi-gloss finish, not look like a refrigerator. It is not really matte, but somewhere in-between matte and traditional shiny. In many cases, you can't even see your reflection in it. And it is an expensive paint job to do...that's why GM charges $1100 extra for it on a number of its vehicles.
If I order another Encore GX, I may consider it. I did not like the way the Pearl White looked on the 1Gen model, but it looks better on the 2Gen model...so does black with a white pinstripe.
