Even more so for RWD since power flows to those tires.....at least in RWDs case the turning and braking is done by the front and the car is at or near 50/50 weight

My wheels are staggered, that’s why I had to replace the Michelins so early, they had life left in them but the outside shoulders of the front tires were totally bald because they couldn’t be rotated.

As for the tape lines in the garage, this is what I’m dealing with lol

Wouldn’t matter! In order to park precisely you have to use your mirrors and she won’t use them. She insists on using the cameras.

Can you "work around the issue" by laying a new tape line based on what's visible in the overhead or 360 camera view, rather than the actual tire placement?

I'd park the Pacifica outside and build a shed around back to store junk & lawn stuff.
Then I'd have room to make a nice work shop for myself, but that's just me.

I've never used the garage for parking cars on any house I ever lived in, I'd build a carport or extend an awning and save the garage for fun stuff. lol

I am still trying to accept that a parked car is not going to be parked for long lol. That's even if my OCD side doesn't like that my wife consistently parks the BMW angled slightly to the left. If I park the Lexus perfectly centered on my side of the garage, it's a little tight getting into the driver's side of the car, especially in the back, so I try to compensate for that. Again, part of me does not like that.

Side note: Due to the steep angle of our driveway, we can't reverse our cars into our garage without scraping - or at least not reliably. That would probably make it easier to line up straight. But as you have shown, cameras != reality.

I don't have any need for a workshop, I have no skills in that department whatsoever lol. I'm a car in the garage kind of guy.
