Lol, that's the one complaint I have about the 6MT in my M3. It turns 3k rpm cruising at 80 in 6th gear. I mean, sure it's nice that I can dash up to 110 in the blink of an eye without downshifting, but it's not really necessary. The 8AT version is definitely the better highway cruiser for that reason.

I can't imagine how powerful your car feels with all that extra power, but mine does even NA. I've never owned a car where I have to let off the gas because it's too much when you hammer it. In normal driving it just usually finds 3rd gear and that's plenty. MB 5.0 noticeably stronger than my Lexus 4.3, feels like considerably more than 12 extra hp and 19 ft/lbs torque.
And oh I think we talked about that, I noticed the exact same thing.... 2500k at 80ish. But that was for a reason. Up past 100 which is what these were designed for it realllllllly wouldn't need to downshift. That said, yeah, at 85 my LX is turning like 1900 lol.
And yeah our transmissions can handle 738lb/ft of torque so we are good!

but it's self regulating because if you do that too much you'll find yourself going HUH?!? i just put gas in here!! hence why this is primarily the weekend car
my best 60-130 mph time is just under 11 seconds btw for some perspective

the way it can roast the tires from a roll on dry roads even with easing onto the power is endlessly entertaining! if the temperature outside is cold enough and the tires are low enough i've even had traction control kick in at 60+ mph in 3rd haha

$1,375 dent is all fixed...it was a really complex dent that was flexed all the way up into the window frame, took him over 9 hours to get it right. Like me, he has no idea what could possibly have happened.

don't sugarcoat it then. and your car is the past and mine is the future. deal with it. and while very nice, i would find your w12 audi old and boring compared to my space age ev.
would love to know how you figure that unless you're assuming i'd need a full battery replacement in that time.
that's one thing i like about the LC500. it has 10 gears but in sport or sport+ it only uses the first 8. but if highway cruising in normal or comfort, it uses all 10 and at 80 it's running about about 1800rpm i think.
I'll never spend as much on gas in 10 years as that car costs you to own

PDR is amazing, and this guy is amazing. Expensive but he deserves it. A little ding I would have it done somewhere much cheaper but that was a bad dent, and right on that body line. Also drove an hour each way...
I bet your entire payment is pretty darn close to what I spend just in fuel every month, so yeah don't see how that makes sense.

even still the 6th to 5th shift is an easy one to make, and to me at least there's more pros than cons by having taller gearing with that engine

it's kind of impressive how little supercharger whine you can hear inside though... with the windows down you can hear it kick in at lower speeds but if you fit an aftermarket intake it sounds like the SLR mclaren haha

wow ok that's a more spikey powerband than i would've thought... so it really is pretty reworked compared to the standard B58 (that's like full torque at 2000 rpm or something)

I would have to do that. Induction noise on SC motors is just incredible. It's nice with turbos (and I'll probably add an intake to capitalize on that), but the whine of a supercharger is something special.

You don't even have air suspension. It's just a commodity car with a golf cart power unit.
I'll get an EV when Bentley makes one with a proper interior and list of features. I'm not stepping down to common cars
As to the argument of cost how much was that EV of yours again? Total cost of ownership will be lower for me, period.
