I would guess a bit earlier than that. The Camry looks to be the generation my dad had. His was a 1988, and they made them up through 1991. That was also during the transitionary period when EFI could still have been a thing worth calling out as part of the vehicle's name--advertising that in the late 1990s would be like having a 2022 "Camry, backup camera edition".

That generation of Civic and Prelude also started in 1991, so I'm going to guess 1991.

If they are in Australia that would explain why the prices look too high for the vintage.
I heard they have high import duties in AU.

That Prelude came out as 92 model year and replaced with 97 model. So some where from 91-96. That Camry looks like 87-91 model. So I think you are right on! Who would think this was a math question? Lol

good find steve!
No gen 1 LS had “LS400” on the back, they added that for gen 2.

the LS400 nomenclature was added just after launch of Gen 1. 1990 had only the logo

Probably a wise decision to leave the model off the original.

Everyone knew what an LS400 was. But yeah since 1995 it’s been there. I personally like my LS430 badge.

I had a fully loaded '84 Toyota van in 1990. The rear air failed and no shop was able to fix it, so it was sent down the road. Weird vehicle with, IIRC, an 88 inch wheelbase.

That is not correct, at least in the US. No LS400 badge until the gen 2. I am 110% sure.

The LS in that diagram is a gen 2, the years reflected are incorrect.

That van had a stock ice-maker in it. Pretty cool stuff.

I'm guessing 92-93. That model Accord ran from 90-93. That Prelude was 92-96, and the Civic was 92-95.
