The evidence that is present = LX driving illegally over a median marker, C8 collides with the LX (with a passenger of the C8 sitting on the back of the car instead of in the passenger seat). I know you love everything Toyota, but the LX is still doing something illegal based on the evidence presented. Unless you can prove otherwise, what we see is what we get.

Yeah. The guy on the back was a bone head idea

Those were good cars if I remember right.

Hope it's holding up for them.
What's in for?
It is holding up well for what it is, just needed a new muffler and some minor stuff this time around. Had a bunch of brake lines replaced before and various small issues like coils, lights, and leaks....really no major issues if you ignore the fact the suspension and mounts are all tired. Engine/trans are both happy

It’s a real bummer that you have to accept the ugly faux SUV look cross country trim to get a MB wagon in the US now.

Mercedes wagons are fabulous. The older ones had jump seats that faced the rear. The old W210 wagons were humongous inside, I assume others were too.

This one has them, they are very useful cars but impossible to find good ones now. I would love to own one to replace my Jeep but I do want to retain the off-roading ability, its hard to replace since it is so good at it's jobs other than MPG.

Oh yeah, this video/segment/whatever got a lot of hate and negative attention right along with the positive. I remember people bytching "what a waste of a perfectly good car" etc. etc. when these paid peanuts for it. And they were free to do what they wanted with it.

The current one still has those jump seats!

They aren’t that big inside, certainly not compared to a modern crossover or minivan. I would love to have one, but they just aren’t anywhere close to big enough inside for us unfortunately.

A few years ago when I listed my Harley for sale a man called me and wanted to know if I would consider a trade so I said sure why not, come over and let's see what you have.

Anyway he pulls up in an old MB wagon.
Car had over 200k on the odometer and it creaked and sqeaked a little over speed bumps when we drove it around the block.

I have to say the car felt solid and built like a tank.
Wife wanted me to trade for it cuz she liked it so much but the car's interior was too far gone and didn't think it was a fair trade.

Only one I ever drove but to be honest the Cross Overs have more room and a better fit as mentioned above and I'd want newer anyway.

All of the M-B products used to be like that until the latter part of the 1990s, when M-B (except for the G-Wagon) started to cut costs and cheapen the quality of their products in response to sharp competition from Lexus and Infiniti, who were undercutting M-B prices.
