I was bracing myself for the worst.

After moving the car once to make sure I got a good look at the entire tread, I found the problem. Nail? Nope. Razor blade? Not even close. It was a piece of caution tape that had somehow gotten stuck to my tire.

Scared me nicely though.

amazing how much noise and concern something like that can make

There are people with plenty of money that could afford a Porsche but choose to buy a Corvette since it does offer seriously competitive performance for pennies on the dollar, compared to way more expensive sports cars. And as you've stated, 8 is the correct number of cylinders. Porsche sounds have never done it for me, I rode in my buddies 911 with exhaust....yeah it sounded "good" but it didn't get my pulse going. This is going to sound realllllly redneck (lol just at all of this talk) but my V8 GMC with the deleted muffler sounds much better than that Porsche I rode in. It crackles and pops and everything. I'd give it a 5 for loudness on a scale of 1-10. Chevy V8s mostly sound the same regardless, which is to say excellent.

So in the additional list of new cars I saw at the beach, yesterday I saw a Rivian R1T and a F150 Lightning!

Got both the cars cleaned up this evening after the beach, boy were they dirty...also found out from my wife following me home that the headlights in the Pacifica don't work with the switch set to "ON", only in AUTO. The high beams work with the switch set to ON, but not the low beams. So annoying...

That sucks about the light. Ugh

I still can’t get over the blue lines between the cars. Amazing

So tonight…it works! Bizarre. I noticed it on the stretch of Route 90 coming out of Ocean City where you have to turn on your headlights for two way tragic, I wonder if she was just turning the switch to the wrong setting…

Haha, yeah my futile blue lines…

TSLA was popping in after hours then went red. Same for just about every stock people are taking quick profits or trying to.

Yes.....today's headlight switches can be annoying, with half a dozen different settings to figure out. The auto-dim feature, however, is nice, although I don't often need it under the conditions I drive, particularly in the D.C. summer when it stays light until almost 9 PM.

I think he means auto high beams. I had a loaner Lexus a little while back and they were neat, they seemed to work just fine.

Oh I got it now. Yeah, I like the feature on my 4R. Sometimes a little too sensitive…but overall a great feature. I’ve got LEDs too.

Nice, does yours have those fancy sequential turn signals in front? I saw that once on a Limited model, I think it was.

Toyota hands down best automaker that keeps older platforms looking fresh. GX is like 40 years old but they're still everywhere and look good. Our dealer is adding 10k markups to new GXs. No joke.

.
Nope. You saw aftermarket. I don’t even have signature DRL. Just the orange high beam bulbs in low. New 22 has LED high beam. Love it this way.
