If so, that is one sweet ride.
Like to hear what you like about it and what you don't, if you like to tell us.

Is this what you're running?

Yep. My quick pro/con list:

Pros
+Very fun to drive. I love sitting up high and it doesn't feel tippy like the previous generation. Has plenty of power when you lay into it.
+Relatively small size is a boon in the cramped streets I live around
+Fit/finish is impeccable
+It makes no sense at all but makes up for it with charm
+The noise it makes never gets old

Cons
-14mpg highway
-Back seat could be more spacious
-Windshield is a rock magnet

Yeah... if you notice above, it seems the ZF has shorter gears 1-4 and taller gears 5-8 when compared to the Aisin in our IS. Obviously those taller cruising gears help.
The IS needs the shorter gearing, being NA and not having to be able to rely on boost to help at the lower end. The Camry SE (4 Cylinder) is actually surprisingly efficient. My car was in the shop for a month due to pothole damage, so I had 2019 SE rental I was driving back and forth from Norcal to Socal as my dad was in the hospital and the pothole happened in SoCal. It had the 8 speed, and at 80 mph it would be around 1700 RPM! At hwy cruising it was giving me easily 40 mpg. The only thing was it would gear hunt when I needed power, especially when driving at speeds 40 mph and below

We had a 2010 Mazda 6 V6 that was used for the commute for 2 years, nothing but stop and go. Astoundingly, it held up quite well and never gave us any problems. Mazdas aren't reliable like Toyotas. I knew it was just a ticking time bomb. It had literally just about 100k on it when we got it shipped back to Knoxville after torture hell for 2 years, uh we traded that in real quick on that IS350 lol. I'm sure it exploded shortly after. My family once had a V6 626 with a blown transmission at 60k miles.

Huh, I don't much about Mazda's. In 2018 I gave my 2006 Camry to my daughter (who just graduated HS) so went on the hunt for another car. I was thinking to just buy another Camry, but decided that I wanted to go back to a manual...., so test drove a few cars. As you know the manual is not as easy to find, so I test drove a Mazda 6...the non turbo. It was completely underwhelming and the turbo was way overpriced plus no manual for the turbo, so I then looked at Honda. I was interested in the Sports hatch, but they didn't have it in manual so I ended up getting an Si. It was a fun car but very moody, and I was used to a V6, and I realized that shifting my own gears was best left for the younger crowd, sold it a year later and bought the IS!

I don't mind having a manual, but it would have to be a weekend car

And 1-4 are amazing when you send it....

The IS just needs a V8 lol! Ratio issue solved, that's why they did the ISF and 500

I hate hunty transmission/engine combos, I started out driving a 6.0 V8 so I am not in any way tolerant of that. I expect it to just stay in gear if I need 5-15 mph more

Still haven't seen an IS500 yet! Personally I found the 3.5L adequate, shifts were quick so it was able to get into it's sweet spot easily. The only issue I ever had was someone dead stopped in front of me and I had to slam the brakes. When I hit the gas the tran got confused and slammed into first gear jolting the car. Others reported the same thing. Only happened once

You have to try one, it's fun as hell and unnaturally loud for a Lexus! Kinda floaty vs a BMW 340i but very competent overall, it talks to you more vs a German car

I drove the RCF and LC500 last September at the Lexus Drive event, you can find my thread on it, I posted pics and videos. They didn't have the IS500 available at the time. I was invited again this year, but probably can't go this year due to other commitments

Yeah... from this angle. From the back... looks like a Kia. Worst tail in its lifespan IMO.

Just curious, what the reputation of american cars in Belgium/Bulgaria I'm guessing by your comment above Bulgaria?
Also wondering if they charge huge tarriffsfs for imports like they do in Australia.

It is truly an impressive truck to me, Mercedes G63
Looks tough and stylish at same time.
Gosh, 14mpg on highway, what they put under the hood on that beast and when you're ready to trade up would you get another or something else?
Thank you, I never got to actually talk to an owner of one of these fine vehicles.

Hi Armyofone, what made you choose the CRV?
I know they are a little pricey and very nice cars, just wondering if you're a Honda fan or she just walked around the lot and the car was love at first sight. lol

I was doing a final look over of the 06 before leaving Florida and found something very interesting.....a 5th key. It was trapped under a seat but not on the floor, kinda in limbo next to the console. Oddly enough it looks like it's been there for an extremely long time, totally dead but indeed able to start the car.

I guess this car has a full set plus one extra master. Very strange it had a key lost inside it like that.
