That is most interesting, Striker. When I picked up the car from the original owner the family was literally in the midst of moving from their long-term residence. They had looked high and low for that key and were baffled by their inability to find it. Thereafter, I had a replacement made at Germain Lexus (not cheap!). Now we know what happened to it. Im glad we finally have resolution of the missing key lol! Sorry you had to make a new one, I know how much these are. This is one of the very few with all of the keys it's supposed to have and now an extra on top of it!

The Phaeton and the A8 were related, but not a rebadge
being on the D1 platform the phaeton is actually more closely related to the bentley continental GT despite looking almost just like the A8, yet another tidbit that makes the phaeton so cool to me
