And to be fair, the LS460 has a fairly common valley plate leak issue which consumes coolant. This certainly doesnt seem to be a common issue at all, we'll see what turns up.

As much as I love it, I couldn't trust an S-Class for long term reliability. Not sure I would even trust the LS500 either, it has horrible reliability ratings or it did at least.

The Ultra White F Sport I saw the other day and this one both gave me a good impression. It didn't feel as inferior to Escalade as I used to feel.
I'm guessing the LX is much heavier than it looks
Escalade's always look like tanks but I'm guessing they may be close in weight, optical illusion maybe but I don't know.

I would. There are plenty of people with high mileage ones, if you have a good mechanic and stay on top of everything, I wouldn’t worry about it.

Yep, I attend to three with 200-300k. None have had unexpected issues but then again all of the owners respect what they need.

It's not a 7 series.

The new one lost weight (which sucks) but the old ones were way heavier than they looked. Last gen Escalade weighs about 5800+ pounds, 200 series weighs 6150. They look way lighter than they are. Escalade and Yukon look heavier than an LX.

Why would losing weight suck? That should be welcomed (assuming capability and size remain the same).

We’ve talked about Hondas not being as great as people think. My assistant met me at a property we have going to settlement tomorrow to pick up a rug in his CR-V, it broke down in front of the house and had to be towed. It was in some kind of limp home mode. He has had tons of trouble with this car.

He just had the oil changed Monday, and when I checked the oil it doesn’t look clean and it looks WAY overfilled. I’m thinking the dealer may have filled the oil without ever draining the old oil…

It idles really hard and won’t rev over 1,000 RPM, it smells like burning oil out the back, the exhaust putts and coughs too. All the warning lights are on…

I don't know what happened to Honda's halo reputation for reliability but about 10 years ago my ex-girlfriend blew a head gasket on her Honda Civic at almost exactly 100k miles.

Car was driven to the store and back and never over 75 mph(she drives like a granny) and had not yet rolled the 100k mark, like 99,980 miles and of of the sudden something let loose and clouds of white smoke.
A one owner car, never overheated, properly maintained and WHAM driving down the road clouds of smoke and temp needle shoots up to the red in seconds.

No broken hoses, no coolant leaks, no faulty water pump literally a head gasket failure only.

Because it was done just for fuel economy just like everything else in modern cars. There is no more AHC protection (which look as tough as jail bars literally on a 200), and less armor underneath. I also just like it weighing a massive amount if I ever get hit. Few vehicles on the road are tanks like these are.

Saw this in the flesh today. Thoughts? I don’t think it looks bad but I wouldn’t choose the wood paneling. I grew up going to Vols games riding in an ollllld one of these this color scheme, I will admit I do like how they brought it back.
