They could have won two times back then. One time they were in solid lead until car broke down and they couldn't communicate with Kobayashi to tell him to pit in order to salvage things on time, Audi took the win completely unexpected as they were not competitive compared to Porsche and Toyota. The second time car literally broke down two or three laps before the end of the race while it had giant gap. Porsche paid the great tribute to Toyota then.

Can see a little peek of the body near the end of video tho.
Guess they are keeping the engine a secret for now, no peeks.

Wrong, it may be LMP2 based, but its performance is balanced through regulations to compete with Hypercars (Toyota, Ferrari, Peugeot). It will be competing for overall victory at Le Mans same as all the other LMDh cars.

Anyway such a shame FIA and ACO couldn't find a way to keep LMP1s running. These cars were true high end racing cars of the world. Their only competition was F1 car and even compared to F1 car Toyota LMP1 had faster corner speeds.

It's a must win for Toyota next year but from what we can gather Peugeot is not ready and it's off the pace by quite some margin. We will see them in Monza. Porsche will most likely race in Bahrain.
