I feel like I got robbed at the local Publix every time I go there so wife goes to Wally World once a month for groceries.
But- I do stop in once a week and scoop up all the Buy One Get One Deals.

I let them pick my pocket a little cuz while I'm there I usually pick up a few junk food necessities.

Took this today in S. Florida, Local Mobil

Aldi is also great to save money on generics, Kroger is my main store for sure. Aldi is nice when you are going for something you have already tried and know is good

I don't miss the gas life at all (the zupra only fills up 5 gallons at a time on full e85).

Ps - I see most of u filling up at the Big Oil stations. Any particular reason ur Not going to Costco or the cheaper independent ones?

They don't want to wait in line. I did it for 10 years happily. Thank God those days are pretty much over . BTW, I spent under $60 last month in electricity for both my Polestar and my wifes Ioniq

Never ceases to amaze me people complain about gas prices but still go to some of the most expensive ones in town while there's one a few blocks a way $1/gallon cheaper...

Fyi - I just got solar, so spend nothing now, and in fact produce so much power, trying to look for creative ways to use it all... Lol

Going green is super expensive right

My wife is sooooo happy because she no longer is going to Costco with the EV6. I got my TeslaTap so now I can use my 220V 40Amp Tesla chargers at home. I also have a dryer plug that i'm going to use for daily charging her car which will probably get to 50% overnight (she only uses like 10-20% a day). My solar will provide for both cars and house so we are all set. Only one we have to worry about is the minivan...its become our occasional use only car. Good thing...gas is hitting near $7 where we live .

Kroger generic, literally the only thing I've had that I don't like is their taco seasoning and their pretzels are kind of boring. Their cereals are as good or better. All cheese and condiments, just as good. You can save a lot of money buying generics, now if they were terrible I'd stick to name brand. The dishwashing detergent powder works as well as Cascade for half price, that was my final test with Kroger brand and it passed with flying colors.

Another tip is when they do the 4xs gas points with gift cards, go buy $200 in gift cards at Kroger for Lowe's before you go there.

Wait, I thought you were one of the anti Costco gas crowd? I pretty much got my gas at Costco for over 10 years. With the savings and the 4 percent cash back (plus 2 percent on my Executive membership) it not only pays my membership, but I get back $500 or $600 back every year. Now with the crowds at the pump, I don't want to go near that place!

I am totally against waiting at Costco but my wife insists on it. Wait until gas gets to $8 here. That Costco line will wrap around the block

It's already doing that here. If you're not at the station by 7:30 am, forget it. Line goes all the way out the entrance. Once we get rid of the Sienna, we'll never see a Costco gas station ever, ever again!

I see the lines at Costco and say forget it! The one I go to they have 24 pumps and the cars are typically 9+ deep per line. They get long enough now that it impedes getting into the parking lot as they wrap the traffic around. The local Arco prices the same to compete so I have been going there without the wait. The Corolla isn't picky.

I feel my car is a bit picky. I think it feels stronger with electrons from the sun vs natural gas but it may all be in my head
