$90 for the LX, but low fuel light comes on with a stupid amount of fuel left. I don't like the low fuel warning always taking over my digital speedo that I have to fix so we fill up usually right when it comes on.

Realize, that it’s not stupid that the little light comes on early. It’s actually very smart. Toyota does this, not many other manufacturers do it. It is done, because if you were towing five or 6000 pounds or more, your gas consumption will double or even possibly triple very quickly. This gives you a LOT of extra time to refuel

Makes sense now?
Saves the pump(s) as well. I always fill at 1/4 or more so I've never seen my light in my LSs other than the times I intentionally went to them to see how much fuel is left in tank. Toyota runs quite the reserve, empty is really 1-2 gallons left and the light is 4 or so
By my math, that works out to $5.49 a gallon. I assume you are buying 91 octane...but I've seen some stations in this area that are charging that much (or more) for 87.

Not surprising. The two stations I filled up at on Sunday were $5.70/gallon (Ohio) and $6.10/gallon (Indiana) for premium. Both were significantly cheaper than the $6.77 I paid on Thursday in Illinois before embarking on the trip. $238.68 total.
Most of my local stations are $5.90/gallon for 87.

You live in the Chicago area, don't you? Exactly why, I'm not sure, because the rest of the Midwest is not necessarily like that, but Chicago is a notoriously expensive area for gas...almost as high as California.

Sometimes I'm not sure why either.

Yeah I'm in the northwest suburbs. It's even worse in the city, because they have their own taxes on top of what I pay. It's better, but still pretty bad across the rest of the midwest. The out of state prices I quoted above were both from discount stations. Ohio was United Dairy Farmers, Indiana was Speedway. The fillup at home was at a BP.
This weekend I'll be in Wisconsin and Minnesota, so we'll see how they compare.

Would have been $5.99 if it weren’t Tuesday. 93 octane.
