We now get to see what O.L.T. looks like
Getting smacked upside the head by a dog's tounge at the exact moment the camera snaps a pic isn't exactly indictive of "what i look like"

However if you had perused the ice blue thread you'd have seen this snapshot of me in the lab:

LOL, well I have looked at your “True Ice Blue / Red caps for the clusters !!" alot but I have not read everyone of like almost 400 posts (I have 40 posts per page in my forums options) and that thread it up to 10 pages now...

I will try to pay more attention from now on

The problem with the SC430 is that it just costs too much. The suggestion for an SC300 or an SC330 is an excellent one.......and Lexus should have listened. The arguemant that an SC330 would tarnish the SC430's flagship reputation is nonsense....the 430 would still be the 430 either way. Second, while the new Solara does fill the gap to some degree, it is not really a Lexus, and the interior is not plush enough. What is really needed is the SC330 with the SC430's beautiful interior and extensive wool paneling and the 3.0 or 3.3 six-banger instead of the V8. This would sell maybe for 45K instead of 60K-plus like the SC430. It would also be a good competitor to the Mercedes Benz SLK roadster.

I tell u guys what. I have not driven one but the interior is TOP NOTCH. I could not believe it was a Toyota. It shames many so called luxury cars. It is an incredible place to be in. And the styling is much better in person.

I am totally changed about this car

I have said all along this car will look much better in person, much like the SC430, which I don't like when I first saw it introduced in a magazine, I ended up buying one after I saw it in person. I'll rather have them introducing this Toyota rather than a Lexus SC330. As an owner, I prefer not to see a lower cost V6 version of the SC everywhere. In the city where I live, the SC430 is still relatively rare.

Thumbs down

I dont get why Toyota made the Solara look like the SC430. Shouldn't they be trying to differentiate the 2 brands????? I think its kind of embarassing that the Solara, which is 25k looks like the SC430, which is 65k. WTF were the designers thinking???
