And like I just told you, reliability is one of the measures of satisfaction.
But it's true that satisfaction also comes from other means. Buick dealerships, in general, have a good reputation for customer service.
One thing, though, that should be working against Buick (and perhaps is, despite the otherwise top rating) is the cheapening of its former luxury-car warranty (6/70 and 4/50, at Cadillac-Level), down to the standard 5/60 and 3/36 like with Chevy and GMC.
Also, I notice, in my area, that a lot of owners of large Buick sedans (Lacrosse, Lucerne, Park Avenue), even older ones, are keeping them rather than going with the newer, smaller crossovers like I did. I still think it was a mistake for Buick to have dropped them...it is costing them some sales.

But the survey doesn’t focus on questions about reliability. It’s not a reliability survey. So unless you are saying people are giving their cup holders or seats a bad rating because their car has been unreliable that doesn’t make sense.
“my engine exploded” and “my cup holders are too small” are the same weight of question in this survey.

Well Lexus and Toyota seemed to have rested on their laurels a bit too long. I can see why Toyota dipped. My friend's 2022 Sienna AC didnt work from the factory. Not a great feature to have or a feature anyone would be satisfied with.

"J.D. Power reports that new car quality dropped significantly during the past year, with 2022 now representing the single worst period in the study’s 36-year history."
Damn...not a good time to buy. Higher prices, poor quality.

Yeah.....my ex-Flight Instructor had two brand-new Siennas over the years, and was not satisfied with either of them, or how Toyota handled warranty-claims. He needed them for his new job after he retired from flying.

Wow! Thanks for posting this! You saved my bacon!
I was about to mortgage my house and pull the trigger on a new Taycan!
I would really rather have a Buick!
JD Power is known for thir superior ratings strategy!

You'll pay a lot less for the average new Buick (even the top-line Avenir models) than for a Porsche. And you will get something that is probably quieter and more comfortable-riding...although, of course, it will not handle like a Porsche. And it won't cost an arm and a leg to service or maintain, either.
I wouldn't recommend the Avenir models, though, for the most comfortable ride you can get in a Buick....they come with larger wheels and lower-profile tires.

I think most people shop for value over price anyway IMO.
What I mean by this is if I bought a lesser priced car, I would expect less but my "overall satisfaction" would be based on value of what I received and not the price.
For example, if I spent $80k on a luxury car and I felt the car was over priced for what I actually got after I've owned it a while, my satisfaction would be low.
However, if I am happy for what I received for the money I spent after owning it a while, my satisfaction is high.
As long as I feel I got my moneys worth and then some, I am happy and high satisfaction for me, no matter what in life it is.
