Tim Allen's one-off 2000 Cadillac DeVille DTSi is for sale

i used to know someone who had one DTS after another every 3 years. i actually liked driving and riding in them. VERY comfortable, pretty quiet, probably the best AC system i've ever experienced, and PLENTY of grunt with the northstar. handled like a boat but not as bad as one would expect.

I mean , yeah, but you have gotta realize cars have come A LONG WAY since the 90s. I mean, I started looking at brand new cars this week , and my 2015 GS is surprisingly comparable in most areas to a new car built in 2022 that isn't a full luxury car. This car would have been really nice and fast in the 90s, enough for most folks.

He wad actually considering modifying an IS300 instead of the Caddy originally.

"I looked at some other sedans [an Olds Aurora and a Lexus IS300] to modify," Allen says, "but I kept coming back to the DeVille. Every time I caught this thing from a rear three-quarter view, I said to myself [now affecting a Walter Brennan voice], Gotta have this, all two tons of it."
