Thats a unique situation though, you can drive the truck in a family capacity on a trip. I want a family vehicle that has AWD for travel in the winter and in other scenarios like camping, light offroad use in WV etc, and I only intend to have two cars, so yjr AWD option for the van is huge.

I like the looks of the Sienna too. My only issue with it is the powertrain.

If the Carnival came with a hybrid system that would likely be in our garage today. Even as it is, gas only, the Carnival would win my wife's vote for family hauler right now.

The Sienna's fuel economy is tough to overlook for a full 3-row usable vehicle for sure. There's no one perfect minivan out there, but Toyota finally has a modern and competitive van again. Curious to see what the next generation of Pacifica brings.
