with the direct sales model being used by tesla and others, i'm sure OEMs will adjust with the market so it will likely never be exactly the same as it once was. the amount of EV offerings outlines this!

nothing new... most dealers i've been to in recent years have done this. on my hyundai, they had a 'package' of dealer add-ons. i took it apart and decided what was worth something to me and what was worthless, and factored that into my negotiation.



but wait, that's still a financing condition. just one you're willing to live with. what's next in MA, requiring dealers to accept personal checks to buy cars?

Point is don’t try and force financing. Whether a personal check or a bank check is irrelevant, as both are drawn off of our DDA account. No interest paid and no credit checks and dings on credit score. Some dealers give all dealers a bad name!!!
