VIP in those type of Vans is MORE popular then on an LS............... There are more Magazines on just an VIP Estima which looks almost the same then there is on all the Lexus put together.
I like it
A few of my co-workers have these bad boys all fixed up. Go for it.

Too bad the only thing close to a fun cargo we get is the Scion Xb. Which I think looks pretty cool..
Hey Robert, do you have any more pics of those Previa / Estima's? would like to see more so i can get a view of what can be done.

Is the 3rd vehicle on the left (white mini-SUV) your Fun Cargo? The front end looks a lot like the Scion Xb coming to the US. Interesting grille on that black van, 2nd on the right, looks like a late 80's Mercedes grille. Finally, the swept back headlamps on that silver van, 1st on the right, think it's an Estima, remind me of the current ES.
As for the VIP van scene in Japan, I think it's the equivalent of people in the US stuffing electronics and huge rims onto giant SUVs like the H2, Escalade, Yukon, etc. Since I'm guessing giant American SUVs (and even Japanese ones like the LX470/Land Cruiser Cygnus) are quite rare in Japan, VIP modders instead turn to vans, which have more room for interior customization than passenger cars (once again, just like people in the US favor SUVs for the interior room for mods).

I always thought the new Z4 looked like an espresso machine - that slammed Previa looks like a steam iron...Cars As Household Appliances...come to think of it, that Scion roadbox kinda looks like a washing machine...
btw, the 1st gen Previas were supercharged 4-cylinder, I think the present one is a V6.

I think TASTEFULLY done Vanning is very cool...you don't have to have a family wagon and look like a "mini-van"...
Of course, as usual, we don't get the "cool" stuff from Japan, instead they try to make stuff for the "American" taste and they just screw it all up...
Well, at least we can do this...

I like the way the new Estimas look specially with the headlights all pulled back to the rear. I have been looking for the supercharged version here, but have no luck. If not the LE All trac will do.
