Basically for the China market only - a Toyota badge with Chinese batteries and motor. I do speculate that the export market bZ will be built by Toyota with Toyota innards.

Highly doubt it after seeing the badge sharing with Subaru on the bZ4X.
We also know that the platform isn't Toyota's, because it's RWD unlike the FWD bZ4X. So essentially nothing mechanically on the car is Toyota.
Seems closer in size to a Camry than the Corolla. And 4883 lbs?! Must have a huge battery if it's 600 lbs heavier than the FWD bZ4x. Looks decent, but it doesn't look like it'll be NA-bound anytime soon. Too bad.

Maybe in between? That is indeed heavy. I believe my new 4R weights just under that.
This is way smaller than the Ioniq 6 and basically around the same size as the Model 3. For a competitor to the best-selling electric car in the world, you would think Toyota would take matters into their own hands rather than outsource it to a Chinese company. Then again, after seeing what a disappointment the bZ4X was, maybe even BYD could do a better job than Toyota.
It still feels like Toyota isn't taking EV's very seriously.

The wheels are supposedly falling off the bZ4X but are they really? Is something else going on? When is the last time any Toyota had issues with lug nuts/bolts and wheels falling off I'm going to say never. All of sudden they forgot how to make the most basic part of the car?
In case you can't tell (you can) it feels like a conspiracy by Toyota to delay moving to EVs.

Look up Edmunds.com and Tesla S. The lug nuts swelled and were replaced under warranty.

haha. Nice try Toyota has showed off all of their EVs that are coming, I think 15 models at least . I don’t care for them because I have no interest to charge any car….but they are all there. I like none of the so far.
Hyundai has done the SAME thing in China. All of the manufacturers do it.
but back to Toyota bZ3….Toyota will build cars for specific markets…they always have and they are best at doing it
