...the automaker has sold 35,971 electrified vehicles in that country since it launched the the RX 400h and the GS 450h back in 2006.
so 36k in 16 years or 2250 a year... not a lot.

Not enthusiastic about what they are doing in Australia. More upset there is no IS hybrid in the US after all this time.

Agreed! Lexus should have brought the IS 300h to the U.S. a long time ago...Lexus could have also put the GS 450h drivetrain into the IS for an IS 450h.

IS300h is not meant for US roads, it's too slow because it sips so little fuel. It's not a compromise US buyer is willing to take on a larger scale.

Lexus needs to stop calling their hybrids - electrified and self charging BS. It's a hybrid. Toyota hybrids been around pervasively since the 2nd Gen Prius in starting in 2003. That is almost 20 years ago.
