GR Corolla Pricing Confirmed!
Full breakdown here on the front page -- https://www.clublexus.com/articles/g...this-too-much/
Hey, folks, last week, I flew to Salt Lake City to test out the new GR Corolla (Core, Circuit, & Morizo) and GR Supra manual transmission on a racetrack. We'll be sharing our driving impressions as follows --
But today Toyota shared all of the GR Corolla pricing information -- it starts at just under $37K and tops out at just under $53K. Given the specs involved, how much would you pay for one?

I would pay 53K for a loaded model. The Corolla GR is a very unique experience by Toyota. Japan made, 3 cylinder turbo. 300hp. Toyota badge and not the full time awd. Torsen differentials. And NOT a hybrid...Very cool

I'd get the Core model, throw on a few options, and walk away with a fun car for under $40k (without ADM, of course).

It doesn't seem that way to me. I'm assuming that the new Civic Type R will go up in price over the outgoing model. The outgoing model started at $38,910 and went up to about $45k. The new GR Corolla starts at $36,995, with the mid-trim at $43,995, and tops out at $50,995, so that's a lot of pricing overlap.

50k? I'll buy a 911 instead.

You're joking, but Toyota said they would only sell 6500 GR's for 2023. This is going to make the Civic Type R's markups look like 5 dollar bills.
