These videos and reviews are alarmist--guy sits in car for the first time and doesn't know where the functions are located, and hasn't customized the screen with shortcuts to make it easy for every day driving. I want a review from someone who has had the car for 3 weeks before giving opinions on the screen and controls, because that's how every day folks drive.

If it takes you 3 weeks to figure out how to use basic functions in the car it’s too complicated! lol

First, I didn't say it will take 3 weeks to figure out how to use the system...but it's a measure of time that the car becomes a DD for the user, and they will actually become much more familiar with all the controls. Especially these reviewers who are going from car to car every day. If they are driving 100s of miles only in that car, it may only be a few days.

Second, not every feature is something you will use every day; the learning curve for all features is different than HVAC and entertainment controls.

Yeah the black plastic is an issue on the newer BMWs...I felt that way in previous iterations too though in M Sport trim.

I could not do a 5-Series or 7-Series MSport trim.

I would like to go one step further and say if you need an owners manual to drive it, FAIL. Haha

I'm not liking the black plastic either.

it's why larger people at award shows generally wear black.

That is the exact spec I saw in person, it's way worse when you are next to it.
