Makes you wonder how the Crown Cross is going to do considering how similar it is to the Arteon.

I considered this car when I got my ES. I took a pass for 3 reasons:

1) VW reliability.
2) Did I mention VW reliability?
3) At over $40,000 fully equipped, the interior looked like you could clean it out with a garden hose. Pretty much the same dash as the new cheapo US Passat. Audi Lite it was not.

Thats just how VWs are, its part of their schtick. They hard and flat and teutonic.

It was a good looking sedan for VW, but with that price I'm not surprised they didn't sell. I just don't understand VW pricing..

I sat in one briefly and was shocked how poor the interior quality was for the price. Basically Jetta quality for $50k
