I pretty much hate dealerships... What's a poor boy to do?

With its history of reliability, there's really nothing to be conerned.

Back to the topic... Looks like we're heading back to normal or they can't sell this vehicle?
The new regular RX hybrid downsized ... so the performance is slower but the MPG is far better..but it is the same powertrain as the RAV4. There was A LOT of criticism on here of the I4-hybrid with the Highlander and the Sienna but all of a sudden there is none and this is now a Lexus...that model replaces the outgoing V6. The top end RX hybrid is now the performance version, however I think it only comes in F-Sport and unfortunately is less efficient by two fewer MPG with the in-line 4 turbo compared to the V6 hybrid. Sales of the RX hybrid with the V6 hit an all-time record in 2021...this year, the outgoing hybrid is selling at the same rate....so 100% the demand far exceeds the supply which is higher than any other year aside from 2021 by just 300 units. Lastly, there will definitely be run on the outgoing model as Lexus/Car aficionado know the value in the V6 and hybrid option of the outgoing model.... the new RX takes a different approach with 4 bangers... Lexus made their name with smooth powertrains... the new one is different approach

Personally, I like the new RX better. The screen is new and fresh. I also like the styling. But there is no doubt the new I4 hybrid is a step down than the V6 hybrid. I also don't like how they made the new RX a smidge smaller. Less aerodynamic from the drag coefficient ratings......heck...buyers no longer get door sill covers..just painted metal...have to pay extra…I could never cheer for a 4 cylinder over a 6 cylinder.

i saw this on another forum. I wonder if supply is even an issue or just some kind of manipulation.

i mean why the heck would the dreadful rx350l have a high adm?
Because some still find that V6 superior. 😬

My local Subaru dealer finally got in a BRZ which i saw by driving by the showroom so I stopped by to have a look. They want $8k ADM on $30k car lol Way to kill the demand for these cars.

The new Z has ADMs of $25-50k.
All these dealers should be sued for price manipulation.

There are no other goods that are sold in this manner.

Yup, that's the primary reason the Focus RS failed too. Was an amazing car and a fairly good value at its $39k MSRP. Not so great for the $60-75k that dealers were asking. Ford discontinued it due to slow sales.

As always, vote with your wallet. Dealers are still asking $3-8k ADM on a Sienna. We smiled and walked out.

Dealerships ask those prices for a reason. You walked out probably just in time for someone else to walk in and actually pay that inflated price.

I know I sometimes sound like a broken phonograph record on this, but I state it for a reason. The Saturn and Scion systems of MSRP-only deals (on the condition of losing one's dealer-franchise if violated) was very effective at preventing this type of mark-up and price-gouging....even on very high-demand/short-supply products like the Saturn Sky roadster. * When Saturn and Scion folded (which had nothing to do with their pricing-policies, but happened because of product-mismanagement), a number consumer-protection measures folded along with them.

* The Sky roadster sometimes did sell somewhat above MSRP, but that was because the cars had dealer/factory-approved accessories on them, which was allowed under the franchise terms.

And both brands went right into the toilet and then closed up shop….never to be seen again.

You apparently did not read what I said. Saturn and Scion did NOT fold because of their MSRP-pricing policy. They folded because of product mismanagement.
