In IL it is called Scott's Law after the trooper that was killed. Fines and possible felony charges if someone
gets injured or killed.

CA had this law in place since 2019 but i hardly see it done in my drives. i see mainly truck drivers doing it, if they can move over safely in the first place.

We already had this law in place. The new law is that you have to move over for ANY vehicle.
