I don’t even know who they are marketing this to. On one hand they are using an old movie from the 1930’s and on the other hand they are using some ridiculous bling wheels that only a young influencer would want. I’m really scratching my head on this one.

Very common commercial trick. Some commercials started with the sound of a crash. It was to make you look at your set.

What does professional refer to? I may have a different definition but I don’t think I’ve seen rx as the professionals’ choice. More like moms and nail shop owners. And why are people so stuck with this V6? I remember a comment I read on a non lexus site. The guy said, “why would you want a slow turd?” It’s a bit much but compared to other cars in its class, it’s pretty dawn slow imo. It’s way over due for a more responsive engine. They certainly seem to want to draw younger crowds with this new gen.

There is no target audience. They will sell it to anyone who wants one. From the grandpa to teenagers.

Just watched the video & liked it, seems like it will be memorable, as it definitely sets itself apart from other auto ads.

I saw what I presume was the short version of the ad on TV last night. It lasted about 15 seconds. It was truly bizarre. I had no idea what point Lexus was trying to make.

Well that's because it's "edgy"... which I guess means that we are NOT "edgy".....

lol, I ask that with a majority of Lexus commercials recently. These are absolutely awful.
