Oh you totally can! My Audi has an obscenely low ratio for the first 3 gears but the top 2 are crazy high for great interstate mpg. Stuff with only 4 gears like my truck or Jeep are the ones that suffer vs 6 or 8 speed units, a 6 is the minimum needed for best of both worlds and 8s are magic since the first 6 can be spaced PERFECTLY.
