Hybrid has a 614 mile range. Nice

Exterior styling is weak. But lovely interior

Lol! Can always count on them to like the Accord. Literally every other review is underwhelmed or a big ole "meh" but never C&D! Gotta love it.

Whoa...........time out. Car & Driver is a credible magazine. You may not always agree with their views (I don't always do so myself).......but those people are not idiots, particularly since Brock Yates (who actually did write a lot of drivel) left a number of years ago. They test, review, and evaluate vehicles for a living, and take their work seriously. While, true, their evaluations are often done from a sport-oriented point of view, that is also the case with most of the competing magazines like Road &Track, Motor Trend, Automobile, etc..... For a vehicle to make their Ten Best List like the Mazda Miata, Honda Accord, and BMW 3-series did for so many years is nothing to sneeze at.

C&D has rated the Accord lower in comparison tests before. Here's one example: 2016 Mid-Size Family Sedan Comparisons (caranddriver.com)

Not anymore they're not. They're the least bad of them all but still ruined nevertheless. Dead good editors are spinning. I remember when I got my C&D it was like Xmas morning for a second. I can't remember the last time I picked up any C&D of mine.

However they are very credible with testing procedures and objective data when they're not being CNN, I'll give them that. Just don't give them a really really awesome vehicle like a TRX or Escalade V because you'll have to read a half of page of whining about fuel economy.

Car & Driver has unfortunately become irrelevant IMO. The new generation don't care

It is not the just print. it it their format and style.. People want videos and short very easy to read writing. They don't want long drawn out articles. Even their graphs and diagrams are WAY to serious and overly complex. Autoblog used to be really great...but they are now stale as well I can't listen to their podcasts anymore

I like C&D's format. I save all my mags for the lake when I go radio silent so I will be looking at them in a couple months. The thing is, you don't need these mags to keep up with everything anymore, at all. That's another reason I don't read them.

This Accord is a disgrace. If I wanted a new car for $35k (and we thought about it at one point) I would have gone straight to Honda. Not anymore that's for damn sure. 204hp.

I don't find them credible especially when it comes to Honda they will put the Accord and Civic on their top 10 list no matter how crappy the cars happen to be.

Just because you said this I looked up C&D's review of the Escalade V. They spent exactly one sentence speaking about fuel economy. 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V Tested: Power and Money (caranddriver.com)

Here’s some moaning about it…the TRX. Owners don’t care. Interested readers don’t care. Buyers of this truck could not care less. We get it, a 700hp pickup will get horrendous gas mileage. That’s a given.

A disgrace?? It's more a joke. I would have to constantly floor that 1.5L just to get it to move like Mark did reviewing it
