Let's theorize that you hit the car with a precision weapon, and he crashes into a family, maybe your family. Or debris injures and maimes innocent people. How would you feel if you were that cop? Took out the bad guy, but killed a child or baby, or injured someone unnecessarily. That's one of the reason many police departments began to rethink car chases...is it worth chasing a manic who doesn't care about other lives, or is it better to pull back, track them with a helicopter and arrest them later?

I think last time I played GTA it was in 1998 on my brother in laws PS1. All I remember was I skipped all the missions and just went on a rampage stealing cars and running over people. The rest is all a blank

not to go too off topic here but it's always disappointing to me when i hear that someone's gta experience is i just drove around and caused havok for 15 minutes, the actual plot of the games are amazing and there's a surprising depth to the characters

He was directly in the line of crossfire. They had to remove him from that hazard. But he resisted, so they cuffed him to get him out of there.

Try that here and it will ply out very differently since everyone here at minimum has their carry guns on them.
