2022 LS sales in the U.S. is on track for the lowest ever about 2500. Will the LS be discontinued?

Last LS update before it's discontinued.

i still hardly see these... it's still quite common to see an LS 460 and even the occasional 430 but i almost never see the "500"

this all makes me worried for the future, i fear toyota have too alienated the customer base with this model that doesn't really appeal to any particular type of enthusiast

It’s still many years away from being discontinued or revamped. Remember the 4LS ran for 10 years. They’ll continue making it for that long at least.

I don't know about that. The LS460 got a major facelift six years into its run with a completely redesigned cabin. The LS500 is going into its sixth year and besides the infotainment very little has changed on the vehicle. Lexus is just doing the bare minimum, not spending any serious amounts of money updating it like they did with the 460.

Well that's 1/2 better, I hate touchscreens since they get dirty and need to be cleaned every damn drive if you use it even once. Idiotic interface vs something like MMI/I drive or even the Lexus **** or remote touch.

It does...I would have hoped they would have moved the shifter a little further back, its a little far forward.

At least they removed the awful remote touch interface. My mother and father had it in their Lexus…to see them despise it was just tragic. And the lack of a dedicated Air Conditioning button was a bonehead move This will be the last LS in sedan form. Needs a turbo V8 anyways

the article said a "new" 12.3 infotainment screen... isn't it the same screen but just with the new software and no remote touch?
