Acura dealer experience = to Lexus from my viewpoint
Figured i would write up a quick thought on my Acura dealer experience.
The Acura dealer we purchased our '23 MDX in August has been stellar. The sales approach was easy and no pressure with a friendly salesperson from start to finish. They didn't give me what i wanted for our trade-in, but we were ok with that at the time. So that is on us.
I brought my MDX in for it's first service today for a minor tie-rod thunk sound - very common on new MDX's apparently. The service experience was great - they got me in early, had all the snacks/drinks you could want at no charge and had a few cubicle style areas to work from while i waited - huge help today with my laptop. They didn't have any loaners avail, but i could get one if i scheduled a time a week out. Wasn't a big deal since i knew this would be a 1-2 hour wait. They washed/vacuumed the car and i was good to go.
The entire experience, in my personal perception, has been equal to my Lexus experience of ~16 years (2006 IS). I was a little worried leaving Lexus, but i am pleasantly surprised and quite happy with my Acura dealer thus far. We'll see as time goes on, but so far so good.
