Its not common, but it’s not unheard of. My 2017 LS needed a $4,000 brake actuator at 5k miles and my 2015 LS needed a whole new infotainment system at 150 miles. It happens.

That's normal for an S-class or AMG, they don't last long in those cars. It's a wear item like brakes, hopefully his is setup to be easy to get to. The fact they are fluid filled doesn't help for long term wear and if it's anything like the setup in the 221/pre-refresh 222 they are mostly fluid not rubber unlike Lexus who use mostly rubber not fluid.

The LS460 usually eats it's first set at 80-100k but it's much lower output and driven much uh.....less aggressively.

A 22 ES 350. Which is fine since it was so much like her ES 300h my wife was comfortable driving it. She won't drive the S550.

In contrast, I needed the A service on the S550. I have had a loaner in the past, but the A service is basic, I just decided to wait. I emailed my SA on 11/14. He knows I like first appt, which is 7:00 am, so he responded with 11/16. I took my iPad and answered emails, read the WSJ, checked out a new sold GLS 450 in the showroom, and started conversation about a 20 GLS 450 (that was at a sister dealership and I ended up buying) with the Used Car Mgr, who also gets going early. I was out by 8:30.

Doesn't look bad at all. I like the two-tone steering wheel and the blue instrument lighting.

you haven’t seen the worst! Isn’t that sad? This is one of the “dirty” areas but for it to work, it has to be super clean.

It's unbelievable in a way, it's just a wiper.

stuttering wipers is usually caused by either dirt/oil on the blades or on the windshield.

The issue is for many people even after stripping and cleaning the windshield and replacing or cleaning the blades they still stutter like that. Its a really common issue.

Hell has frozen over and the fat lady has sung. haha
Mercedes Benz is now Scotty Kilmer approved.

Took him long enough to admit it!

PS- I wouldn't mind another MB for a toy, used one of course. Love the interior on this one but like something bigger.

Got my shipment of new interior perfumes lol. “Nightlife Mood” smells like a soapy but still sweaty man. My wife and I determined tonight we were not fans, so Pacific Mood goes back in

Could very well be but when people have the issue on day 1 and it's across models, it's most likely what you said...

This is the bizarre part. I know you also need your toes to count how many vehicles you/yours have had and this is the first one you have to (continuously) clean for it to kind of work.

Of course you don't. I'm not crazy about VC just making the point to continue the other poster's comment. Nice way to exit a debate.

Absolutely, I have never had any issues at all with wipers in any car I have ever owned but this one.

MB are not good on wipers. our GL550 had the same problem, stupid wipers couldn't wipe clean and well. talked to my SA and before i was half finished with my question he admitted it's a design problem and they had no fix. it happens to quite some MB, luckily our GLE350 has been ok so far
