Default Help me pick my next "goal" car!

I always like having a "goal" to work toward as far as cars go and I am having some conflict on what to chase this time around, timeline would be the next 5 years or less since my house will be paid off then. I am having a hard time deciding what to pursue since I already have very nice 4 doors and should probably work toward a really really fast two door. Feel free to push me one way or another!

I am conflicted with the 19 vs 20 BFS since I prefer the look of the older gen exterior and the fact it uses the ZF8 but I really like the interior of the current gen.

Same story with the R8s, I like the look of the 1st gen more but I am less conflicted on these. I am not sure if I can justify the price of a gen2 with the turbos since that would be around 150k

The Mercedes S65 is just extremely good looking to me and I have a thing for how the V12 accelerates past 100 mph. It's amazing to experience. This is probably the least sensible and most expensive option though!

W12 is very expensive to maintain. The turbo V8s in the Bentleys are the way to go.

Not really a factor here and I already own a 4.0TT car lol! I wouldn't want to get the same driveline again

The first two are honestly not appealing to me, the 3rd is a "someday" type car when I have enough space for like 20 cars.

Why how considerate of you good sir lol!

I prefer my sanity, no way I'm crazy enough for a V10 TDI. The 355 with a Capristo would be worth it for the sound though......I may have to own a Ferrari at some point just for the sound alone.

I would get the current gen Bentley Conti GT coupe. Its such a beautiful design inside and out.

R8 are nice and fairly reliable.

V12 MB without a warranty is going to be expensive.

Have you considered Ferrari V12s - 599, F12, FF, 612 Scaglietti are all amazing cars that will hold value way better than the cars you’re considering.

I don't know much about these cars but that would be my concern(in bold above).
What kind of escape plan and resale market exists on these high end models, if someone decides they want to trade out of it someday?

I’m always going to pick a sportscar unless it’s for a daily driver so I voted for a Heffner R8 TT. I used to know Heffner way back in the day when his shop was 15 minutes from me when I had my Viper. Really cool guy and isn’t afraid to try something that hasn’t been done before. I remember him doing the first supercharged Lambo Diablo.

doesn't the engine need to be dropped like every 3 years for routine maintenance on the 355?

it is annoying that it's such an expensive and erratically unpredictable car to own because the looks are just perfection and yes the sound is unmatched by anything they make today

edit:

sorry have to include this clip too lol... that really is phenomenal sounding with the capristo

You make a very good point but I'm not really a Ferrari guy, I only really like the 599/F12/812 and that's a conflict of interest with my dream RWD car. This wouldn't really be a daily driver I think...I'm not sure honestly, three of these cars could be and the outer 2 most certainly not.

Also if I'm being honest I'm not sure if I would be able to afford an 812 in the spec I would want. New MSRP for what I would spec is around 400k

Right now I'm using the W12 Audi as my daily and that probably will not change when I get one of the above since it's relatively low maintenance and cheaper to run. Plus aluminum doesn't rust!

Damn. Okay maybe I'll get one and deal with the headaches.....I am hoping/trying to get to a place when I'm 35 to have a space for a decent size car collection since there are so many nice cars!
