All this is nice and good, but it does not address the most fundamental issue of the RZ / "busy forks" - range and charging time. Hyundai/KIA is coming out with charging times as short as 18 min from 20 to 80%. 45 min or 1 hr is not acceptable. Toyota must address this issue if they want the RZ to be successful.
Now, short charging times may reduce battery life, so Toyota could offer an option for the owner to select charging current. For example, if charging in a hurry during an occasional long-distance road trip, the owner could select "ultra-fast" charging, while using "normal" when there is no time pressure. An occasional "ultra-fast" charge should not affect the battery too much. The car could even suggest the best "charging mode" based on GPS route planning.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but obviously not in the hand of Lexus designers!
Quirkiness seems baked-into the Japanese design aesthetic. It's one area the Japanese automotive industry should outsource more. I've been noticing this since the mid-eighties...I always thought they would use focus panels to sort this out, but inexplicably, no!
