What's the Fastest You've Been?
The fastest I've been was many, many years ago as a shotgun passenger in a 1967 911S when the driver hit 125 mph on a freeway here in Columbus. It scared the hell out of me! That is no doubt nothing compared to some of you others.
What's the particulars of the fastest you've been?

244 in a Porsche 911T, 210 in an forced induction 4th gen viper. 187 in a personal car, yes I am aware of irony that the fastest I've been is in a 6 cyl but to be fair a 9ff is a really good 6
I've hit over 100 so many times personally I've stopped keeping track......it's too easy in most of my cars to do so.

130 mph (210 km/h) both as passenger and driver. Both times in Germany on an autobahn (fully legal). As driver in a 1999 BMW 520 wagon (yes, tiny 2l, 150 hp inline 6), as passenger in a 1967 (or 1968) Chevy Impala SS with a 7.4l V8, driven by my father's older brother (he was a brave man, lol).

I think the fastest I've driven is 120 or 130 mph when I was in Dubai in 2017 renting a Huracan. I almost crashed it and after that I just babied it LOL

As for the Viper, I’ve never really felt comfortable going fast in my Gen II Viper. I may have gotten up to around 130-135 but I was always a little scared of that car and its ability for the back to come around so quickly. Made is really fun though and I loved that car.

It was one hell of a rush in that one for sure! I can imagine a 2nd gen was scary, I've only been in/driven the 4th and 5th gens and the 4th is a world apart in terms of extra violence vs the 5th. The overwhelming noise and fear of death does add to the experience though IMO, my current cars are so controlled/calm at 120 that you can drive as if it's only 60 and there is no wind noise on the 460/W12 at that speed.
It's just really different when a car can do 100 with casual revs instead of straining....it really makes "high" speed like that feel normal/nothing special at all. Meanwhile a 2000 Honda Civic feels like you are going to meet god trying to get over 90!
