check out pics in lc500 forum, there's a new yellow one, orange, green, blue, red, and those 'boring' colors.
hood gas struts failing? when was the last time you heard of or experienced this?

Did you have trouble with the T-Top? One reason they were discontinued is that they compromised the roof-integrity of the vehicle too much, which could lead to leaks and squeaks/rattles, particularly in those days, before the frames had the rigidity they do today.

agree not well produced... pro tip - you can change the playback speed of youtube videos... change to 2.0x and it will be more entertaining.
my lc500 has frameless windows. i am not concerned.
one thing modern cars with frameless windows do is crack them about a 1/4 inch when you attempt to open the door. i think that avoids the jamming.
well unless one is in a hurry and that's a waste of time.
yes they sucked. i think the subaru legacy wagon i had way back (my ex to be specific) had those. it wasn't really a bother though.
we recently discussed a maybach vehicle with 2 tone paint so they're out there.

In Los Angeles, circa 1987, there was this kid who brought his mom's Maxima to school with automatic seatbelts and a talking voice. An invite-only demo was made after school, and COOLNESS was achieve. Yes, great memories and my claim to fame.

I miss floor button dimmer switches. What I miss most is the ability to order a car with the features and options I want without having to order them in packages. Very often, most often, if I want a certain exterior color I also have to take the inferior color they choose. Same with other features, interiors, wheels, transmissions, stereos, just about everything. If I want one thing I have to also take, and pay for, a half dozen other things. I’m sure their way smooths their assembly process which saves them money but….

I miss when cars actually had real windows, trucks were bought only for hauling/towing things, when you had good old fashioned buttons instead of the pissing contest that has become trying to place the biggest, newest screen on top of the dash, and another one that doesn't get talked about much: covered cupholders. When I'm driving, I don't want to see two big gaping holes in the middle of my car. It looks very cheap and unsightly.

The reason floor-dimmers went away is that the small round push-switch could be difficult to find with one's left toes, particularly if the switch got hidden under a thick floor mat. The later hand-stalk is right there, at your fingertips, open, exposed, and not covered up by anything.
