The dumb drivers thread

People who swerve to an exit ramp across multiple lanes should be automatically targeted by an AGM Hellfire R9X. It's a drone fired missile that's been used to take out terrorist leaders. Uses blade instead of explosives to avoid collateral damage, but will absolutely destroy a car and its occupants.

You're funny @FrankReynoldsCPA .
A cop pulling them over and getting a public spanking like the man child they are might be sufficient. Lol

Apple Car Play (and Bluetooth before that) will dictate the text to you, and you can dictate a response--you don't need to be holding the phone. It works great.

I am too easily peeved as a driver. The most recent trend is, when I pass in the left lane and move to the right again because it is a passing lane, the vehicle that was approaching me from behind in the left lane at a high rate of speed slows down and drives in my blind spot. I can no longer see them, but I know they are there. If you are hauling ***, keep your speed up, maybe? I don't get why they would want to match my speed and do so while being where I cannot see them. This happened multiple times in the past week. In one case, I slowed down assuming they would continue driving at my previous speed and there would be some space and I would be able to see them. Nope. I slow down, they slow down. I ended up punching it and getting up to 85+ just to get away. When I return to a reasonable speed, the hapless driver eventually catches up and does the same thing again. In pretty much every case, it's an SUVer who does this. Tuned out is not a good way to drive and that's definitely a driver I don't want to be around.

Honestly I think it just goes back to people being clueless about others around them, and they don't even realize you're there.

Or they can wait till stopped or parked. What did these people do before cell phones? Seems most are just on there to chat, probably the same people looking at their phones who while walking walk right into you like it's your fault they didn't see you...

The other side of that is people are wired to expect responses immediately today, and before cell phones those expectations were different, so for a lot of people just waiting isn't an option.

IDK, I got stuck following a TRX in the left lane for 20 miles because he wouldn't actually pass the semi in the right lane. 55 in a 75.
