Mercedes just released pictures of the interior of the all new E Class debuting as a 2024, coming late this year. It gets the hyperscreen. The latest version of MBUX will offer user downloadable apps, hence the TikTok screen, and it features a camera for Zoom and videoconferencing when in park.
What do you all think? I dunno...I'd like to see some wood somewhere...

Hyperdrive screen is not my thing but that's fine. The double stacked button bars on the steering wheel is downright absurd what were they thinking? Does the giant screen crack in a moderate collision?

I prefer it too. That interior rendering is pretty close, they did better inside than the outside.
The screens themselves may look dated, but at least this car has MB.OS that will receive regular software updates. That will keep the menus and such looking fresh.
I actually prefer that without the Hyperscreen. This is a rendering but it looks pretty close to that actual dash you posted @TangoRed

and as much of a techie as i am, i am not feeling the hyperscreen either. it's simply too much and unnecessary.

I think newer screens will age better than older screens. Resolution is so good now that its not likely to get demonstrably better, and modern OLED screens have perfect blacks...
As an example the screens in my S560 still look modern and crisp compared to an S580, but when you get into a pre-refresh W222 the screens are not nearly as high resolution and they look crummy...

Hyperscreen is overkill. There is no place for the passenger to put their feet up.
