Default wheel repair places in Chicago

Hi everyone,

This afternoon, some stupid lady decided to swerve into my lane instead of stopping for a parked mail delivery car in her lane. So, I quickly got as close to the curb as I could, but too much so and ended up curbing my rear wheel. The wheel isn't bent or anything as far as I can tell, and luckily the damage seems to be purely cosmetic. It's a chrome Supra TT wheel.

Any places that can repair the curb rash and rechrome it in the Chicago area? I would prefer places that people have had experiences with, as it seems that the automotive repair industry can be quite shady at times.

Thanks,
-Brian.

Hello,
I used a place more then once called Rim America, or Rims America. It is close to Bensenville, I think is Wooddale. I bought used rims from ebay and they ended up being in bad condition. I took all 4 there and they made them look brand new. I could not belive it. Later I hit a pothole poped a tire and bent the rim. I took it back and they fit it. Again it looked brand new. I also had them power coat my stock lexus rims to gun metal. It came out reel nice. They are going on my car soon for the winter. I will look up the phone number and get back to you.

I think Kevin (Fiction00) got his TT rims repaired there too. It looked great when it came back. How much was it?

Hello,
They said they gave me a discount because I got 2 sets of rims done. It was $100.00 per rim. That also included mounting and balancing the tires for me of on all 8 rims.

SOrry for the delay. I was mistaken about the name also. It is:

Thank you Dwoods. I'll check them out.

EDIT: For chrome wheels, if they become scuffed on the lip, is it imperative to repair them? I've heard of chrome flaking and such, causing the tire to lose air? Maybe this is just a stupid question
