Default Help!

Just got alternator fixed and now I am hearing power steering noises and feeling it tighten up as well. I checked the container and I need to put fluid in. What should I do? Put more fluid in and let it continue to ruin the alternator? I am waiting to hear from some local mechanics so I won't have to get done by the dealership prices, but this needs to be fixed soon.
Also- it sux but i will probably have to do the alternator again.
wtf!

Isn't that a common problem with SC400? Search the SC300/400 forums. There is also a local guy who had the same thing happening. PM ChrisK on this forum and ask him for help.

Chris,

So far I never had problems with the power steering.

Will,

For what I remember correctly, there is the possibility of replacing only the high-pressure seal, rather than the whole pump, but I never had a need to do so.
