Winter Tires or do you store?

Winter Tires or do you store?
Hi everyone,
I plan on driving my IS in the winter and wanted to know what all the other chicago folk do in terms of tires/rims.
I really can't make up my mind with this car. Do I just get some Pilot Sport A/S's and call it a day, keep the stock rims and swap in the summer(not that the pilot sport is a bad summer tire)
Or do I just get another set of rims for winter along with winter tires....
OR do I keep my stock rims and get winters on there, and get some nice rims in the spring....
I've always done the two rim option in the past, but just kind of tired of that these days... Plus don't like storing multiple sets of rims all year long...

I'd toss some winters on the stock rim and get some nice rims+summer tires for the summer. But if you like the stock rims, go for some steelies that'll fit, maybe 16" with around a 55 profile and it'll work even better for winter.

However the A/S tires are a good option as well. If you think about it, we only get a couple of days of bad snow a year. I don't know if that justifies separate winter wheels/tires.

Keepin' her nice and warm, huh? Actually, though, when you think about it, there are really only a handful of days each winter around here when the GS is not driveable, and even on those days, unless it's really, really bad, the plows are out in force clearing the roads.

Just finished putting the rims on the IS. The look pretty good. I'll have to see it in the sunlight, and I'll try to snap a few pics when I get the chance. They blizzaks feel pretty good, at least around the neighborhood. Hope we get some snow to try them out on.
