I think I have a leak in my exhaust system. The car sounds like a 5.7L LS1. The performance is fine. When I get down to the ground and listen, it's louder upstream (closer to engine) than down stream (closer to mufflers). Can anyone recommend a good reputable exhaust shop to locate and fix the leak? I live in Schaumburg.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It may be a drive for you guys but the quality of work and the savings will be more than worth it.
Its called McHenry Muffler in Lakemoor on RT120 the guy there is Dana, He does awesome work, and can customize anything.
He even bent all my hard pipes for my Starion and 3000GT Intercoolers.
I think the pipe for both cars wasn't even $100...and he charged like $75 to do it. My 2"3/4 turbo back exhaust for the 3000GT was $250...I brought my own tips.

doesnt cost to much at the dealership to fix an exhaust leak. I've done a couple at work myself. U can also bring it to this performance shop that is also sponsoring my team, LTS Tunerz, called "APG Performance". its right off of 83...dunno how far everyone is...but its a good shop.

Their pricing wasn't all that great for the quality of the work. I wouldn't go back. In fact, i need to get my piping re-done.
Can anybody recommend a place that are custom work friendly and know what they are doing?
ps: preferrably someone who can do mandrel bending instead of crush bending.
