Is Palatine the place that we went to last year?? That park was pretty secluded and ghetto..... I was going to mention this forest preserve right by by place....I think it's called Bode Forest Preserve? Anyways its right off 90 and Barrington Rd. I checked it out over the weekend and its pretty nice

 

Food, most of the times we grill out....people just bring stuff.
I guess we need a grill, drinks, burgers, dogs, brats...whatever.

Last year someone brought some steak like thing and salsa that killed me. Urmil wanted to bottle it and sell it.

Ha....I'm not usually one to complain but I know some of guys last year were talking about going to a place where we show our rides off.... Anybody remember this pic? There was a tree that fell across the road when we were leaving the bbq....perfect time for a photo

Count me in, and I am sure we will have consistent weather in two weeks as well. I'll bring the slip and slide and some warm Hawaiian Punch.

 

Should we take a vote on location? Somebody suggested Streets of Woodfield (tons of parking is always available) but the food thing could be problematical (as opposed to a park)

 

Hey...I kinda liked last year's 'ghetto fab' secluded area. Anyone remember the chicks that drove by to check out the cars and pass their phone #'s onto a couple of you.

That parking lot gets pretty crowded from the few times I was there. I think a Park or a designated area would be better. I want to make sure we can take some photos of all the cars. I am up for anything so lets keep the ideas coming. I am going to stop by McGrath Lexus tomorrow and talk to them about getting some stuff set up and they have all that extra space now with the addition. They have a nice BBQ there also. Let me see what I can do!

 

I spoke to my friend at Woodfield Lexus yesterday (and last week) and they already committed to sponsoring this. Maybe we should talk and try to figure out a way to have more that one meet, so everybody has a chance to do their thing?

 

Determines on the confirmed date and time. I don't think I've seen anything confirmed just yet.

Where is the park at?

 

I have never attended a meet, but I would love to! Please, I am unfamiliar with that area... Could somebody list an address that I can punch into a GPS, or coordinates so I can pull up its location on google maps. Thank You!
