I was going to post this in Car Chat but wanted to know what everyone in the area thought about these cars for year round use. Since you are all familiar with the driving conditions it will help me decide.

All are boats. Although I think the AMG's only seat 4 not 5, if that even matters to you. Seems like the AMG's are way more expensive than the others you are comparing them to. If performance isn't that important to you, those may not be the best choice. I think I would choose either the Maserati or the CLS63. I'm not sure why though. All are amazing cars, just look at the price tags. Good luck.

Out of those cars listed, my choice would be the CLS or the S8. I want to vote for the Quattroporte, but I couldn't do it if I was in the market for a high end sedan.
My buddy has (actually, now I think it's 'use to have') a Maserati. I swear to God it's the most beautiful car sitting in the garage next to his DB9. Unfortunately, if it wasn't spending time in the garage next to the DB9, it was sitting in a garage up in Lake Forst getting work done to it. He got it to be more of his daily driver and ended up driving the DB9 more.
I know right before this last winter, he ended up buying a GS450h, which he ABSOLUTELY loves.

My mom's other car is the CLS 55 AMG, and I love that car, it's extremely comfortable. I actually fall asleep in that car just going with her somewhere 10 minutes away. And oh yes, the power is definitely there.

I am going to say the Audi S8. I came out of the S4 and Audi has come a long way. I never had any issues with my car once. The car all around was great and had lots of fun with it.
The CLS is another great choice. These would be my 2 choices.
Any good deals on the RS4?? I would like to give up my car for one.
Good luck on the decision.
Mike

Any reason why you're not looking at a 3rd gen Lexus GS? If you're looking for the performance aspect of a larger, premium sedan (which is what it looks like from your list of cars), go and test drive a GS450h.
That car off the line is a rocket.....relative for what it is.

The Audi will no doubt trump the Benz's in reliability and quality. Audi's come a l-o-n-g way in the last few years, building their rep for high quality - high performance vehicles. My bro's S8 is a rocketship and he hasn't had one problem in over 2 years.
That being said, buy a Lexus!!

Thats actually what I have right now.....Looking to get into something a little smaller/sportier. I also had to take off my 22's due to a suspension problem and the car just does not look as good on the 18's. I want to get a car that looks good without much modding.
