Topspeed Autosport
So I stopped by Topspeed Autosport @ 2879 S. Archer in Chicago today for the first time. For those of you who haven't been there, it's a great shop loaded with aftermarket parts for our rides.
I met Dave and Mike, both great guys who know there stuff
. They carry Tein, which is how I heard about them, as well as Injen, HKS, GReddy, Eibach and a bunch of others.
I was talking to them about various mods that I'm in the middle of when they asked me if I wanted to see the owner's Nissan Skyline they were working on in their garage in back... of course, I took a look, and... there it was, a 600hp, fully-modded, pure JDM Skyline GTR. They were in the middle of installing a new Brembo 6-pot front/4-pot rear cross-drilled, oversized BBK. It's the first time I've seen a GTR up close, not at a car show, and it was one crazy ride.
I'm glad I stopped by, and I'll be using Topspeed for work in the near future. This post is totally unsolicited; I just wanted to spread the word to those who live in the city and can't find a decent autosport shop anywhere nearby....
If you've had experience with Topspeed, post it up.

I've been there for over 3-4 years. Know almost everyone there personally. If you guys want great reference, let me know.
They do good work. Joey is a straight up guy, just don't ever cross him. David is cool too but I dont talk to him much. I mostly hit up Mike and his buddy, they're cool as well. Angela is okay too..
anyways, yeah Top Speed is well known in chicago. surprised you just brought this up.
I vouch for all the work they do, prices are honest, but I wouldn't ever get HIDs from them, just my own advice.
Joey I believe has other cars obviously than besides his GTR.
Mike has the 240, Dave has the GS, then everyone else I forget what they have..
They carry everything, and stuff you can't find, they usually can get.. They'll even give you Top Speed stickers for an added 3 whp.
The guys there have helped me order some stuff that woulda taken me a few weeks but instead got it in a few days. It's mostly lil stuff though parts for my car are rare or discontinued, so that **** is through my own hookups. these guys helped me out with my nicerice-underglow, the hids in my fogs cuz I couldnt for the life of me remove a few components, and my rims.
Up next Ill be ordereing my BBK and SSBL's from these guys.
i vouch for all of them 110% tell them jeff with the solara sent ya.

oh sorry, im finishing up the list. i will try and send it to you as soon as possible. my turbo kit should be arriving in on monday. i still need to decide a fuel management system.
