You know what...You should buy Passnu2's IS350. One owner and he can tell you everything thats ever been done to it.

It would be the same as a new IS250 and believe me...you want the 350!!! I drove a SC300 this winter and i was fine.

Well i got an AWD on may 31st....try to buy on the last day of the month as they are willing to deal more. I got mine for 200 over invoice. Fully loaded...nav, luxury, premium, all weather mats, etc. Also after a problem with the initial car i bought they had to track down a replacement i also got the rear lip spoiler and sirius installed for free so when you tack those on i got mine for about 600 under invoice.

Edit: We picked it up at McGrath Westmont salesman was Abe. Pretty cool guy i told him how much i wanted to pay over the phone before we even got to the dealership, he agreed and that was about it.

Pm me and I can give you my personal info. My car is going to McGrath and I can get you the car for a lot less and you can finance it through the dealer. You can come over and drive it this Saturday. It has every option on it and its been taken good care of and garaged. I am parting ways as we have a baby due in ~ 5 weeks

Consider also that Lexus of Highland Park is in Lake County, the tax is a bit lower then Cook.

The sales tax increase does not apply to vehicle purchases. Anyways, sales tax is assessed by where the car is registered not where it is bought, so it doesn't matter.

Scratch that regarding Arlington Lexus - I re-did the numbers myself and I beleive they fleeced me out of 1000+ or more. I went in there today with all the paper work and reamed them for about 2 hours. They agreed to give me 500 back. I am suspect on the trade-in - I think they screwed me on that as well. I guess I'll chalk this up as another life experience and ask more questions next time.

freakin morons

I paid the sales tax for Cook County (got at Schaumburg) and I live in Lake. I was told it has to do with Point of Sale. I realized a while later and tried to get a little refund.
