I know for sure that the construction equipment on the Edens project does not have any speed limit enforcement equipment installed. All we have out there is that white van and state police vehicles (marked and unmarked.)

the construction equiptment does not have radar integrated, but I have seen LIDAR guns being used by plain clothed officers with no ISP vehicle present. Rule of Thumb, be careful and smart as to be expected per safety. These tickets are no joke and not worth it for doing ten over. I know trucks typically like to dominate and intimidate, but let them pass you and get their "Just Deserts" in the mail and not you.

Getting hit at 45 or 75 is going to hurt.

Speeders are not the problem its drunks. I took my front plate off and tinkered with my plate.

There was a guy I went to HS with and he graduated two years earlier. He was the guy who was drunk and killed the construction worker in Schaumburg in 2004. He received 10 years. She was a mother of 5. Although he was a nice person and never caused trouble, he made a terrible mistake that will haunt him forever. Lesson learned from this event, never drink and drive, and do not mess around in construction zones regardless of fines.
