Default Bugs

I am going to take a trip down state through central Illinois tomorrow and the last time I did this I had a ton of bugs on my Acura. Any ideas as to how to prep your car so that they just wash off? I heard some people put a very thin layer of vaseline on their cars so that you can wash it off later.

My IS250 has a clear bra and its been waxed twice (only 700 miles on the car) so don't expect many problems. I'm sure everything will just wash off.

You can layer your front end with painters tape. It will look ridiculous, but you won't get any damage. Do what these guys did:

as long as your quick to wash the bug guts off and not allow it to bake for a few days in the hot sun you should be ok.

I was kidding about painter taping your whole car. Clear bra should be good.

My dad used to sell ambulances and before he would take it down south to like Kentucky to show it to customers he would spray the front with a light coat of pam which worked great.
