And Mike I'm not baller like you!!
I had to settle for 3/4 carat on top and 2 1/4 carats on the side, the ring isn't white gold but platinum..
.. 4 digits of pure.. well.. 'worth-it-ness'
..(Seriously the rock(s) cost me a fortune (for me), and the band I was super picky on since my lady has thin fingers so..
plus . I'm a perfectionist by nature, so this was even worse, I was browsing for well over 3 months daily, going from store to store, nothing, finally decided to design my own, and came up with that.
The box I chose was a little big-ish but .. oh well.

It has since been replaced.
Here's an update
just taking the ring out of the box of the box and opening it up is already getting me all butterfly-ish..
I'm nervous, scared, but happy and yet anxious, I can literally barely wait!
Mike I'll get you a ring pop tomorrow okay?!

I was just teasing you! that is a very nice ring that you picked out but if you ask me its not about that. I did get something nice for my wife but she didnt want it and I got you beat by 20+ years. I wanted to do it for her
funny thing is she is so simple that i could have used the ring pop and she still would have said yes.
But am impressed with what you picked out and that you took the time to design it yourself for her.

Congrats Jeff. It's a big step young man, but it's also a great one. I've been married for 6 years now and sometimes it's rough, but the good well out weighs the bad, and you will find yourself falling deeper in love with her every single day. Again Congrats bro.
PS: On your wedding day, when she starts to walk down the aisle, you will get this indiscribable feeling of joy and it will be like the this was the first time you ever saw her.
