Default Need someone who can retro fit for me.

Okay, as the title says, I'm looking for someone who can retrofit a set of TSX projectors into my headlights.
I will be buying a DIY kit online which includes the projectors, a set of d2s bulbs and ballasts.
All I think I need is that shroud? and someone who KNOWS what they are doing since I am too iffy about myself cutting into my stock headlights and setting up/mounting the projectors in there.

I'm looking for someone in the chicagoland area. I'm based in Downers Grove, thanks!

-- JMKiang, if you get this, let me know if your buddy with the blue accord has any more feedback on if he'll help me out with this or not. thanks.

ive try doing it. it takes about a week to do it. its not that bad. but if your looking for professional work its will cost a bit more. i did retro of tsx projectors on my friends 07 camry. didnt make a shroud but it fit in. i got like sheet metal as a holder for the projectors and then i use washers to extend it to hold the projectors to the plate we made. it came out pretty good. not jacked up. the lines were perfect. IMO its long labor hours. lol but be sure to have a backup headlight incase screw up.

or if you know anyone in like a school or something just measure up a schemtic to your headlight and have him laser cut you some sus301 metal or some thick plexiglass.

this is already planned out for me when i get my q45's =D

It's for a reflector housing right? Mine was for a projector housing that swapped my OEM halogen projectors with TSX projectors.

This is what Deception and I did the summer of '07, took about a week or so, but you might be able to bust it out in about 2-3 days.

These pictures are right when it was done, by now, it's color shifted a bit and looks a bit brighter with a bluer cutoff line.

Nice job guys maybe I can have you do the GS next summer for me? I want more lights on this car. I have to say Lexus is the worst car I have owned/driven for the HID's...

Haha, that stinks, there are a few Lexus's that are amazing in terms of HIDs, namely the LS430 and LS460, some people use RX330/350 projectors too, cheap and easy.

Your car has projectors already, so it'd be easier to do a retrofit, looks big, buy some LS430 projectors =)

Hey Jeff,

I replied back to your PM. I've been dealing with alot of stuff at work. Due to a merger, they let our team go last week. Long story but as of last Thursday I'm officially laid off.

I've been doing a million and one things since. How soon are you trying to begin working on that retro? Have you got your parts yet?

-Mike
